The Google auto-suggest for keyword research works greatly. Another method to look out for is that section where google shows “what people are asking”. If you keep expanding that snippet, you will discover more questions keep popping up. In the world of blogging, understanding how to do proper keyword research is the fuel to the business. While jaaxy is very good, however for a newbie in blogging I think exploring and mastering how Google auto-suggest works is the first step to understanding how keyword research works.

I totally agree with the idea that Jaaxy alone, or any keyword research tool for this matter should not be used alone. That means that these tools should be used as guidance and in combination with more sources, as you mention Google itself.
From my own experience I found that sometimes using Google autosuggest or the related questions section can get overwhelming, as I get so many options of keywords that I might even loose track of the initial idea I had on writing my blog post 🙂
I believe each blogger should give Google and keyword tools a try and then decide what works better and stick with that.

I would definitely say that you should target only one keyword per article. Otherwise, you will confuse Google as it will not know what to rank you for.
It will also help you stay organised and ‘on the topic’ as your audience will find the exact answer to their exact question in your articles and nothing else!
Therefore, the rule of thumb is one keyword = one article.
